Privacy Policy: How Printer Co Handles Your Visit Data

This policy explains what information Printer Co (printer.com.co) collects and how we use it. We keep collection to the minimum needed to run an information website.

Information you send us

If you use the contact form, we receive the details you enter: your email address, and optionally your name, phone number, subject and message. The form is processed by the central message system the publisher uses for its websites. We use these details only to read and answer your message and to correct the site where needed. We do not sell them or use them for marketing.

Page view statistics

Like most websites, our server and a lightweight statistics script record technical information when pages are visited, such as the page address, the referring page, browser type and the time of the visit. We use it in aggregate to see which guides are read and to fix problems. We do not use it to identify you personally.

Cookies

The site does not need cookies to work, and we do not currently run advertising on it. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.

Our guides link to sources such as printer makers, standards bodies and government sites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply when you visit them.

How long we keep information

Messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with them and to keep a record of corrections. Statistics are kept in aggregate.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to its use. To make a request, use the contact page.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if our practices change.
